Training Seminars for Cultural Participation in Germany

The Aller.Land program focuses on culture, participation, and democracy, targeting rural areas in Germany, especially those with structural challenges. Over six years, the program aims to develop long-term, participatory cultural projects and foster new alliances between culture, democracy work, political education, and regional development. Local people and institutions will have the opportunity to collaborate with partners from culture, municipalities, and civil society to initiate changes in their communities and engage more actively in decision-making processes that affect them. In the second funding phase, known as the implementation phase, thirty regions will receive up to 1.5 million EUR each over five years to support their regional participatory cultural projects. This phase will start on July 1, 2025, and end on June 30, 2030. The Aller.Land program office, located in Leipzig, is responsible for the allocation and review of funding, project support, and knowledge transfer to the interested public. The project initiator, Projekteure bakv gGmbH, is in charge of distributing the funding.
