Building Renovation and Hazardous Material Remediation at the Old Training Center

This project involves the renovation of the old training center at Machandelweg (Building N) for a new purpose. The new plan includes a cafeteria with a production kitchen for the BVG property at Machandelweg (MACH), as well as storage and workshop areas, and multifunctional training rooms within the building. This project is part of the new workshop concept for the subway. The building will be stripped down to its shell and renovated. Due to the presence of hazardous materials, extensive remediation is required. The remediation of hazardous materials, along with the demolition work, is included in this tender. The goal is to create a stripped-down, health-compliant building in the form of a shell. A detailed remediation and disposal plan, including a hazardous materials inventory and a specifications list, is provided with the tender, which bidders must use to calculate their offers.
