Construction of Fire Station in Darmstadt

The Darmstadt City Development GmbH & Co. KG (DSE) is seeking suppliers for the construction of the new North Fire Station for the Darmstadt Fire Department. This project involves building a facility that will house multiple functional areas across three floors. The ground floor will include all necessary parking spaces for fire department vehicles, located along Gräfenhäuserstraße and Pfnorstraße. According to the current plans, a basement is proposed for the northern section of the building, while the other sections will be built without a basement. The site for the new construction is located in the northwest of Darmstadt, west of the railway line, bordered by Pfnorstraße to the east and Gräfenhäuser Straße to the north. To the west, there are small gardens, and to the south, there is a gravel area elevated by up to 1.5 meters. The area previously used for a lime extinguishing pit and the adjacent former landfill site of the Röhm company has seen sand extraction for construction purposes since 1945.
