Dredging and Pumping Works at Husøy Fishing Port

The Husøy Fishing Port has not been dredged since the 1980s, resulting in insufficient depth for modern fishing vessels. This shallow condition affects both the fishing fleet and the local industry. The Norwegian Coastal Administration is tasked with deepening the harbor basin to 8.3 meters to accommodate larger vessels safely. The project will involve dredging both clean and contaminated materials, some of which will be used to expand the land area and develop new infrastructure for the fishing industry. Suppliers are invited to participate in this important construction project.
