Romania – Construction Works for Level Crossings – “Modernization of Level Crossings with Railway” SRCF Brașov - 8 Level Crossings (7 Lots) (Design and Execution)

This project involves the design and execution of works for the objective: “Modernization of Level Crossings with Railway” S.R.C.F. Brașov - 8 level crossings (7 lots) (design and execution). The lots include various locations along the railway lines in Brașov, including stations such as Voila, Băile Tușnad, Prejmer, Ozun, Sf. Gheorghe, Sînsimion, and others. The National Railway Company “CFR” - SA has completed the feasibility study for this project, which is currently in the stage of preparing procurement documentation for design, execution, consultancy, and supervision of the works. The works will be carried out in accordance with current legislation and technical regulations. The full text is available in Annex No. 1 of the data sheet "Instructions for Bidders". An advance payment of 10% of the contract price (excluding VAT) will be granted, subject to the conditions mentioned in the Contract Agreement and General Conditions – CLAUSE 46 – ADVANCE PAYMENT. The contractor must provide a guarantee for the return of the advance payment, which will be at least equal to the advance payment plus interest calculated at the reference rate of the National Bank of Romania. The guarantee must be issued by a bank or insurance company authorized to issue such guarantees within the European Union. Interested economic operators have the right to request clarifications or additional information regarding the award documents until the 20th day before the deadline for submitting offers. The contracting authority will respond to all requests for clarification in a clear and complete manner by the 11th day before the deadline for submitting offers. Any requests for clarification must be submitted electronically with an extended electronic signature.
