Framework Agreement for the Supply of Tree and Shrub Plants and Mulching Materials for Creating Hedges in the Grand Lieu Estuary Area

The Grand Lieu Estuary Syndicate is implementing structural improvements to enhance the quality of surface waters as part of its aquatic environment policy and actions outlined in the Territorial Water Contracts Acheneau Tenu (2024-2026) and Grand Lieu (2025-2027). This project involves restoring or creating wet buffer zones and woodlands (hedges, groves) between the hydrographic network (main rivers, streams) and risk areas. Risk areas include cultivated lands (drained, steep slopes, loose hedgerows) and impermeable spaces (urban areas, road networks). The objectives of these improvements are to: - Enhance the natural purification functions of ecosystems, - Promote the infiltration of runoff, - Reduce sand runoff into rivers, thereby restoring habitats for wildlife and flora. The implementation of these improvements is based on preliminary parcel diagnostics, collaboration between technicians and operators, and a voluntary approach from the operators. Companies responding to this contract are expected to have reviewed the entire consultation document. All personnel from the companies must adhere to the recommendations provided.
