Park and Ride Construction Project in Bucharest

The Sector 3 Municipality of Bucharest is launching a significant investment program aimed at developing and modernizing local infrastructure. Due to ongoing public and private investments, there is a pressing need for modernized parking facilities to meet the demands of residents in Sector 3 and beyond. The 'Park and Ride - Intermodal Point Republica' project will address the acute shortage of parking spaces in the densely populated Sos. Dudești-Pantelimon area. This intermodal point will help to: • Improve traffic flow by reducing the number of illegally parked cars on adjacent streets, enhancing road circulation. • Enhance the quality of life for local residents by providing a safe and accessible parking solution, contributing to a cleaner and more organized urban environment. • Promote public transport use by providing a transfer point (park and ride) for those coming from outside Bucharest, thereby reducing city traffic. • Revitalize the area with modern construction that will improve urban aesthetics and attract new investments. According to Article 160, paragraph (1) of Law 98/2016, any interested economic operator has the right to request clarifications or additional information regarding the procurement documentation up to 18 days before the deadline for submitting offers. In accordance with Article 160, paragraph (2) of Law 98/2016, the Contracting Authority will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification/additional information on the 11th day before the established deadline for submitting offers.
