Laboratory Equipment Acquisition for HiTech Project

This contract aims to procure and install essential scientific equipment for the Institute of Agro-environmental Research and Water Economy (INAGEA) as part of the HiTech project. The project focuses on advancing scientific and technological knowledge in four key areas: plant ecophysiology, in vitro cultivation, molecular biology and biochemistry, hydrology, and sediment and water analysis, as well as histological studies and microscopy. In this phase, the following equipment will be acquired: - For plant ecophysiology: A photosynthetic fluorometer for gas exchange measurements, two incubators with agitation, and an additional growth chamber for cultivating various photosynthetic organisms. This additional growth chamber is necessary due to increased specific needs for insect experiments, which require distinct environmental conditions from those for plant cultivation. - For histological studies and microscopy: A tissue processor to enhance the capabilities of the existing microtome at INAGEA, and two stereoscopic microscopes (loupes) with a digital camera to complete the microscopy set acquired in phase 2. The procurement of this equipment is crucial for equipping INAGEA's laboratories and meeting the research and analysis needs anticipated at the institute. These tools will significantly contribute to the quality of research and promote scientific and technological advancement in the specified study areas.
