Laboratory Equipment for Life Sciences Building

Statsbygg is overseeing the construction of the new Life Sciences Building (LVB) for the University of Oslo and Oslo University Hospital, commissioned by the Ministry of Education and Research and South-East Health. This facility will accommodate approximately 1,600 employees and 1,600 students. Excavation and groundwork began in the second quarter of 2019, with an expected completion date at the end of 2026. The building will host various professional environments working collaboratively to address significant challenges in health and sustainability. It will be equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory, optical, and precision equipment necessary for conducting world-class research, teaching, and innovation.
