Construction Works for Water and Wastewater Pipelines at Isestraße 144-146

SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, a state-owned enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, is responsible for planning, constructing, maintaining, and managing school properties while considering educational needs. The Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, represented by Schulbau Hamburg (SBH), intends to renovate two existing buildings at Isestraße 144-146 in Hamburg Eimsbüttel to establish a new primary school, as requested by the Authority for School and Vocational Education (BSB). The site currently houses the State Institute for Teacher Education and School Development (LI) and is expected to accommodate the future 2.5-stream primary school Isestraße after the completion of construction phases. The first phase involves the renovation of Building 02, a listed historic building from 1912, focusing on superficial and fire protection improvements. Additionally, modifications will be made to adapt the building for use by the new primary school, including a warming kitchen and a school cafeteria. The school is designed to accommodate a maximum of 276 students (organized into 6 clusters of 46 students each) and 20 full-time equivalent staff members. The ground floor of the historic building will feature a cafeteria area with a warming kitchen and a free-flow dining service, as well as a children's teaching kitchen. The cafeteria spaces can be flexibly used, including for faculty meetings. The existing layout allows for additional uses without restricting access to the stairwell or children's kitchen. The technical building services connections are located in the basement of Building 01, while Building 02 (the historic building) does not have a basement, so the main installations will be distributed from there, with a small technical room on the ground floor of Building 02. The sanitary facilities are adjacent to the installation areas.
