Business Development Consultancy Services for Clean Energy Investment

GET.invest is a European program aimed at mobilizing investment for clean energy projects in developing countries. The program assists project developers and companies in becoming investment-ready and connects them with potential financiers. It offers a variety of services to enhance investment efforts, with the goal of increasing investment volume and speed to foster sustainable energy markets and address climate change challenges. Since 2022, GET.invest has operated the Team Europe One Stop Shop for Green Energy Investments, providing information and access to European support and financing for energy projects in Africa. Hosted on the multi-donor platform GET.pro and co-funded by the European Union and several countries, GET.invest aims to develop projects to a bankable status and introduce them to investors. To achieve this, it is creating two facilities to provide additional advisory services: 1) Project Documentation Development (PDD) - which focuses on creating essential investment-grade project documents to validate the viability of projects; and 2) Legal Support Services (LSS) - which offers legal agreements and advice to ensure compliance and mitigate risks in clean energy deals. These services apply to all clean energy market segments under GET.invest's mandate and are currently active mainly in Sub-Saharan Africa, with plans to expand to Central and Latin America. The PDD and LSS services can work together or independently, depending on project needs.
