Hamburg School Kitchen Facilities Construction

SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, a state-owned enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, is responsible for planning, constructing, maintaining, and managing school properties while considering educational needs and economic principles. The former school buildings at Billwerder Straße 31 have been demolished, and a new building for the Bille-Gymnasium is planned on the site. The new gymnasium will accommodate 3.5 classes and will consist of three construction bodies with redesigned outdoor areas. One of these buildings, Project 21-0005, will be an individual building that includes administrative and teacher rooms, multifunctional spaces for the school (cafeteria, stage, music), and additional classrooms. The building is designed as a four-story solid structure with a façade made of brick. The flat roof will be a green roof and prepared for a photovoltaic system. A vital kitchen with associated ancillary rooms is planned for the ground floor.
