Environmental Studies Contract for Toulon Provence Mediterranean

This contract opportunity involves a framework agreement for conducting environmental, topobathymetric, and sedimentological studies of the designated beaches in the Toulon Provence Mediterranean metropolitan area, divided into two lots. The aim is to carry out three complementary missions as needed: naturalist inventories, and topobathymetric and sedimentological surveys of the seabed and beaches. The selected suppliers will be responsible for: - Analyzing existing conditions - Conducting field surveys - Interpreting and analyzing data - Proposing monitoring tools, methods, and frequencies based on the study objectives. The goal is to enable the metropolitan area to: - Identify ecologically significant areas on the beaches and their submerged zones - Monitor marine substrate movements - Identify areas of marine erosion and accretion - Adapt construction and development projects near the beaches - Implement tools and methods to combat beach erosion and monitor their effectiveness, ensuring the technical solutions consider the conservation of marine and terrestrial species and habitats.
