Construction Contract for Water Supply in Sörenberg

This contract involves the replacement of the existing water source pipeline with a new DN 150mm pressure pipeline. The new pipeline will be made of ductile iron pipes, featuring an outer cement mortar coating and an inner cement mortar lining. It will utilize high-load, form-fitting socket connections and harness the hydroelectric potential for power generation at the Obersörenberg drinking water power plant. The contract includes both civil engineering and pipeline construction work as a complete package. The pipeline will cover a height difference of approximately 300 meters over a length of about 1200 meters. Additionally, this contract will also include the construction of a pump pipeline (HDPE 125/102.2mm) with a length of approximately 120 meters from the Obersörenberg treatment facility to the village reservoir, as well as the open channel overflow pipeline from the treatment facility.
