Germany – Painting Works – MSB-BV-31 Painting and Coating Works

This contract involves the painting and coating works for a two-story reinforced concrete building with a basement, which is part of a primary and secondary school for grades 1 to 10. The total area of the building is approximately 4,000 m². The building will be constructed to be accessible for all. The layout of the new school building is U-shaped, with classrooms and specialized rooms located in the north and south wings, and administrative offices and a break hall in the east wing. The resulting courtyard will serve as a playground. Access to the school building will be from the east. All exterior walls and some interior walls will be made of reinforced concrete, with some areas featuring exposed concrete. Additionally, masonry walls and drywall will be used. The ceiling panels will be flat reinforced concrete with concrete core activation. A composite screed with coating will be laid on top. The flat roof will be designed as a retention roof draining outward, and the facade will be a ventilated wooden facade. Window and post-and-beam elements will be made of wood-aluminum with triple glazing. Under the ground floor slab in the corridor area of the break hall and the adjacent hallway, there will be an installation channel for technical systems connected to the technical rooms and central technical shafts. Heating will be provided through the mentioned concrete core activation, supplied by a heat pump with a ground probe field. The building will primarily rest on shallow foundations (slab foundations), with frost skirts provided for frost-resistant foundations. In the area of the planned wooden escape balconies, individual foundations in the form of point foundations will be used.
