Medical Equipment and Supplies for Biopsy, Tissue, and Stool Samples

This procurement is for formalin solution containers for biopsy, tissue, and stool samples for the laboratories of HUS Group and HUS Diagnostic Center. The procurement involves HUS Group, the City of Helsinki, the Eastern Uusimaa Welfare Area, the Vantaa and Kerava Welfare Area, the South Karelia Welfare Area, the Kymenlaakso Welfare Area, and the Defense Forces, collectively referred to as the "Purchasing Unit" or "Client" in the request for proposals. The procurement is divided into the following categories: 1. Formalin containers with screw caps 2. Formalin containers with pressure lids 3. Formalin containers with spoons. Suppliers may offer one (1) or more categories, but sub-offers within a category are not allowed. For each category, the Client will select two (2) suppliers in order of priority. The Client will order and use the selected products according to the priority order stated in the procurement decision. However, deviations from the priority order may occur if the Supplier does not have the product needed by the Client, if the Supplier has delivery difficulties, if the Supplier is unable to perform according to the contract, if the procurement contract with the Supplier is terminated early, and/or if the Client's needs otherwise require it. The estimated start date of the contract is in spring 2025. The actual contract period is two (2) years, after which the contract will continue indefinitely.
