Planning Application Works for A66 Northern Trans-Pennine Project

Kier Transportation is seeking a qualified contractor to perform planning permission works for the Ullswater Community College site along the A66 Northern Trans-Pennine route. This work is essential for the main contractor to proceed with the construction of the Kemplay Junction. The A66 upgrade project aims to convert single-lane sections of the 80km stretch between the M6 and A1 into dual carriageways and improve key junctions. This project is a collaborative effort involving three Tier 1 contractors: Balfour Beatty, Kier, and Aureos. To ensure a consistent level of business competence, we will apply the Build UK Common Assessment Criteria (CAS).
