Lighting Upgrade for Youth Play Facilities in Munich

The City Council of Munich has approved a project to upgrade lighting at various youth play facilities across the city. This project will not only involve the installation of new lighting but may also require additional construction work, such as improving pathways for maintenance and winter services. The locations for the upgrades have been prioritized in collaboration with local social service providers. The Department of Construction intends to award planning and investigation services related to species protection as part of the landscape planning services for the first nine sites. The sites include: 1) Wiesentfelser Straße, District 22, approximately 14,900 m²; 2) Neuhofen Nord (Wacker), District 06, approximately 11,000 m²; 3) Riemer Park, District 15, approximately 11,100 m²; 4) Maßmannpark, District 03, approximately 11,900 m²; 5) Maria-Probst-Straße / Heidemannstraße, District 12, approximately 12,800 m²; 6) Perlachpark (Gustav-Heinemann-Ring), District 16, approximately 8,800 m²; 7) Amphionpark, District 10, approximately 9,800 m²; 8) Freiham Skatepark, District 22, approximately 12,400 m²; 9) Triebstraße (Park am Oberwiesenfeld), Districts 10/11, approximately 8,000 m². The landscape planning services will include various assessments and mapping, such as habitat analysis and documentation for species protection, as well as the creation of necessary plans and reports for the approval process. The technical planning for lighting and automation, as well as the planning of outdoor facilities, will be awarded separately.
