Denmark – Medical Equipment – Re-tender for Elastomeric Pumps

Amgros is a partnership representing five regions in Denmark. Amgros is responsible for the procurement of framework agreements for the purchase of elastomeric pumps on behalf of the North Denmark Region, South Denmark Region, Zealand Region, Capital Region, and optionally, the Central Denmark Region. Amgros oversees the entire procurement process. The framework agreement includes a mandatory range of elastomeric pumps and an optional range that bidders can choose to offer. Additionally, the procurement includes accessories such as carrying bags/belts. Elastomeric pumps are defined as a shatterproof container that contains a balloon reservoir made of an elastomeric membrane, which creates infusion pressure as the driving force, allowing the patient to receive medication evenly over the period it takes for the membrane to contract. The pumps are independent of other medical equipment or electricity. Elastomeric pumps are used for chemotherapy, pain management, and antibiotic treatment. The procurement is divided into three sub-agreements: Sub-agreement A: Elastomeric pumps for all medications for the North Denmark Region, South Denmark Region, and Zealand Region. Sub-agreement B: Elastomeric pumps for cytostatics for the Capital Region and optionally for the Central Denmark Region. Sub-agreement C: Elastomeric pumps for other medications than cytostatics for the Capital Region and optionally for the Central Denmark Region. A framework agreement will be established with each participating region, allowing the region to make purchases under the framework agreement. The region is not obligated to purchase a specific quantity of elastomeric pumps or to spend a specific amount based on the framework agreement. Throughout the duration of the framework agreement, including extensions, the maximum number of elastomeric pumps that can be purchased under each sub-agreement is as follows: - Sub-agreement A: 212,896 - Sub-agreement B: 77,376 - Sub-agreement C: 249,056. The number is set higher than the estimated quantity stated under sub-agreements A, B, and C, taking into account that the number of pumps may significantly increase compared to current and estimated future consumption due to potential changes or new uses of pumps during the term of the framework agreement. Decisions regarding any extension of the framework agreements will consider that the maximum quantity is not exceeded.
