Medical Supplies Contract in Romania

This contract involves the supply of medical consumables for the treatment of patients. The contracting authority aims to establish framework agreements for the supply of these materials over a period of 36 months. It is estimated that a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 12 subsequent contracts will be awarded within a calendar year, with the largest contract potentially being awarded every 12 months. The estimated minimum and maximum quantities for these contracts are detailed in Annex 2 of the specifications document. Subsequent contracts will be awarded based on the needs of the contracting authority, and the quantities mentioned are estimates. The contracting authority is not obligated to purchase the minimum or maximum quantities specified in the annex during the framework agreement. The total quantity expected to be purchased during the framework agreement will depend on the availability of allocated funds and the needs of the contracting authority. If justified, the maximum estimated quantity in the framework agreement may be increased according to Article 221 of Law 98/2016 on public procurement. Technical specifications for each lot are found in Annex 1 of the specifications document. The deadline for the contracting authority to respond to all requests for clarification or additional information will be 11 days before the deadline for submitting offers, as per Articles 160 and 161 of Law 98/2016, with subsequent amendments. Suppliers have 20 days to request clarifications before the offer submission deadline.
