The City of Cottbus is planning a comprehensive upgrade of the City Ring Road from the Turbo Roundabout to the Peitz exit. This section is located in the Sandow district and is part of the federal road network, providing important regional traffic connections to the north. The road runs through an industrial area with a significant amount of heavy traffic, both through and destination traffic. The upgrade includes the complete renewal of the road surface and adjacent facilities, including sidewalks, bike paths, drainage systems, and green areas. The preservation of existing trees is a priority. At the same time, it is essential to ensure continuous traffic flow and access to adjacent properties at all times. The execution plan includes closing one lane at a time and redirecting traffic to the other lane.
