Construction Work for the Reconstruction and Modernization of the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Karlovy Vary

This public procurement contract involves construction work for the reconstruction and modernization of the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Karlovy Vary, located at nám. 17. listopadu 710/12, on parcels 394/1, 394/2, 394/3, 395/1 to 395/5, and 396 in the Rybáře district. The work includes the preparation of as-built documentation using BIM methodology and providing a Common Data Environment (CDE) until the completion of the project and the transfer of data from the CDE to the buyer's internal storage. The project is detailed in the contract proposal, which is Appendix 2 of the procurement documentation. The work will be carried out in several phases, each concluding with the approval of that phase. In Phase I, the main historical building's residential part and small structures on the school grounds will be removed, including the existing garage, transformer station owned by ČEZ Distribuce a.s., and other extensions to the school building. The transformer station will be relocated to the new building. The main historical building will be reconstructed, and the new building will be constructed simultaneously, with the northern wing of the new building being completed in a shortened form without the last three sections. The school will be relocated during the summer holidays. Phase II will involve the removal of the vacated school building (or at least the adjacent wing) and the completion of three sections of the skeleton towards náměstí 17. listopadu. After the approval of Phase II, both parts will be connected at the dividing wall. The public procurement contract is financed by the Operational Program for Just Transformation for the period 2021-2027.
