Brief
The Dessau-Roßlau Municipal Hospital (SKD) is a public hospital that treats approximately 100,000 patients annually. It offers a wide range of medical specialties and employs over 2,000 staff members. As the third-largest medical facility in Saxony-Anhalt, it serves as a comprehensive emergency provider for patients in the eastern region of Saxony-Anhalt. In early 2021, the hospital merged with the Diakonissen Hospital in Dessau. The Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology at SKD conducts all imaging examinations before, during, and after therapy for other departments. The CT scanners to be procured must meet the hospital's needs for high-quality emergency and routine diagnostics, particularly in trauma, internal medicine, surgery, and neurology. They should also enable advanced cardiac imaging and spectral imaging. The equipment installed in the emergency room must be adaptable for both emergency diagnostics and scheduled examinations for inpatients and outpatients, requiring appropriate features. Key areas of focus include neuroradiology, orthopedic trauma, vascular imaging, and oncology. The department is responsible for timely production of imaging documents, immediate availability of images in the PACS and web system, and high-quality written reports. This investment aims to replace existing large equipment with high-performance devices of the latest generation, equipped with modern software solutions. The devices must handle daily routine tasks and allow for additional or advanced examinations and image post-processing. Funding deadlines must be considered (invoicing by October 31, 2025). These deadlines apply to construction measures, infrastructure, delivery, installation, and software connections (Intelli Space Portal).
