This opportunity provides General Medical Services (GMS) to service users in secure mental health inpatient units across the Cheshire region. Service users with mental health conditions or learning disabilities frequently have complex physical health needs, and prolonged inpatient stays increase the risk of developing long-term physical health conditions. Many service users are admitted from outside the Cheshire area and lack registration with local GPs, making this service essential for ongoing physical health monitoring and screening. The contract involves continuing provision with an established provider (Readesmoor GP practice) via Direct Award arrangement for a 12-month period.
