Construction of Sports Halls in Rostock

The project involves the renovation and demolition of sports halls located at Kopenhagener Straße 5a, Rostock. The sports hall complex consists of two connected gymnasiums built around 1969/70, which are now over 50 years old and have never been modernized. They exhibit significant structural and fire safety deficiencies, outdated technical equipment, and inadequate thermal and weather protection. The current facilities do not meet the requirements for competitive sports and are only partially accessible for individuals with disabilities. To promote sustainability, a comprehensive renovation of the halls is essential. The construction work will be carried out in four phases: 1. Phase 1: School sports field on the south side, including access to Kopenhagener Str. 5a/b 2. Phase 2: Renovation and expansion of Hall 1 (eastern hall), including access paths and parking 3. Phase 3: Renovation and expansion of Hall 2 (western hall), including access paths and parking 4. Phase 4: Outdoor facilities for a baseball field. The third phase will focus on the renovation of Hall 2 (Kopenhagener Str. 5a) after the completion of the first two phases.
