Road Construction and Technical Assistance for Gura Humorului Bypass Project - Stage 1

The Gura Humorului Bypass Project - Stage 1 aims to reduce east-west transit traffic by redirecting it through the bypass to DN17 (E576) and DN2E, alleviating traffic congestion in Gura Humorului. The overall goal is to enhance Romania's economic competitiveness by developing transport infrastructure, fostering internal market growth, and promoting sustainable transport and cohesion within the European road network. The bypass will connect to the Baia Mare – Suceava Highway, starting at UAT Frasin, and will include a bridge over the Moldova River, intersecting with DJ177D via a viaduct. The project will be executed in two stages, with Stage 1 focusing on the complete construction of the left lane, including road signage, acceleration and deceleration lanes, and necessary infrastructure. This procurement procedure pertains only to Stage 1, which includes the design and execution of the ITS infrastructure, while the necessary equipment will be addressed in Stage 2. Interested suppliers can request clarifications or additional information regarding the procurement documents up to 18 days before the bid submission deadline.
