Electric Vehicle Procurement in Bulgaria

The contract involves the procurement of one new, unused light electric vehicle (8+1 seats) categorized as M1. This vehicle is part of a project aimed at purchasing an electric vehicle connected to a charging station for providing social services in the town of Byala, Varna region. The vehicle must meet the criteria for 'clean vehicles' as per Regulation No. N-21 dated December 19, 2023, issued by the Minister of Transport and Communications, effective from January 5, 2024. The delivered vehicle must be equipped according to Article 139, Paragraph 2 of the Road Traffic Act, including a safety triangle, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, reflective vest, and must come with all necessary registration documents, warranty and service book, and operating instructions in Bulgarian. The vehicle must have proven origin and be accompanied by a declaration of origin and a certificate of conformity. The selected contractor is also required to provide warranty (service) maintenance for the delivered new electric vehicle during the warranty period. The vehicle will be registered by the contracting authority in accordance with the Road Traffic Act and Regulation No. 1-45 dated March 24, 2000, regarding the registration, reporting, operation, and decommissioning of motor vehicles and trailers.
