New Brackish Water RO Unit Installation in Dhekelia, Cyprus

The Ministry of Defence is seeking suppliers for the installation of a new Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit to replace the existing one at the RO Plant in Dhekelia, Cyprus. This project involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a fully automated Brackish Water RO Unit, which will include a Pre Filtration System. The new unit is expected to have a recovery rate of up to 55% and produce approximately 20 cubic meters of water per hour. Additionally, the project scope includes the removal of the old RO unit and necessary modifications to the water pipelines and power supplies. The new unit will be integrated with the existing SCADA system for telemetry and automated operation. Key tender dates are as follows: Expression of interest by March 5, 2026; return of interest by March 13, 2026; invitation to tender on March 16, 2026; tender return date by April 17, 2026; contract award on June 15, 2026; work commencement on June 22, 2026; and completion by December 22, 2026. The project budget is €760,000.
