Geotechnical Monitoring Services for Secondary Collector Construction in Brno

This public procurement contract involves conducting geotechnical monitoring for the 12th construction phase of the secondary collector in the Česká – Středova area, as outlined in the project documentation. The collector is an underground structure designed to house engineering networks, specifically power and communication cables, hot water pipes, water supply, and sewage systems, which will be placed beneath the collector's floor. The construction is located under roadways in the built-up area of downtown Brno, particularly along Česká and Středova streets. The main route of the collector runs along Česká Street from Náměstí Svobody, connecting to the existing collector from Náměstí Svobody to Zámečnická, and continues along Solniční Street. Branch lines extend into Středova, Skrytá, and Jakubská streets. This construction project, including all supplementary structures, impacts the surrounding area. Surface structures within the deformation zone must be statically secured against the effects of excavation to minimize impacts. The critical criterion is the development of the subsidence zone under the limiting angle from the base of the excavation, in accordance with the ČSN 73 0039 standard.
